To Her Mom

14 November 2009

Mom, forgive me on what you think of me.
I may not have the world but I’ll try, you’ll see.
You knew I am not worth of your doubts.
Give me time and space to reason out.

I love your daughter the way she is.
Mom, just for once, believe me please.
I may not have gold and diamonds,
but I promise, no other hand but hers that I’ll hold.

Mom, what you’ve heard of me is wrong.
Give me chance to prove my love is strong.
Though you will make distance between us,
I stay the same, and love will forever last.
